The destination

Wilpena Pound Resort is located in the Ikara Flinders Ranges National Park, South Australia (429 kilometres north of Adelaide). It is only accessible by sealed roads from Adelaide and Port Augusta, or via a Scenic Flight Transfer. Eco Structures worked with Grant in 2013 to provide a custom solution tailor-made to his remote accommodation requirements

The solution

The final design included 15 ensuited Eco Structures and a central dining facility, utilising two 6.3m permanent tents linked with additional decking to provide 120m2 of internal dining space.
